Russia’s Premier Bus Exhibition Moves to Autumn
The Russian exhibition of bus equipment and urban solutions, CityBus 2027 will now take place in September 2027 at the Main Stage venue in Moscow, near the Volgogradsky Prospekt metro station. The exhibition is organised as part of the Russian Urban Mobility Week.
A Strategic Move to Autumn
Originally planned for June, the exhibition’s shift to the autumn business season is a strategic decision by the organisers. This timing allows manufacturers and suppliers to showcase new models of buses, components, and technological solutions developed during the spring-summer period. The vehicles and products presented at the exhibition are expected to form the basis for procurement contracts to be signed in the second half of 2027 and the first half of 2028. Furthermore, in the current challenging economic environment, the rescheduling allows transport enterprises and suppliers to use their time and resources more efficiently.
What to Expect at CityBus 2027
CityBus 2027 will feature a comprehensive display of modern transport solutions for urban, suburban, and intercity routes.
The exhibition covers several key areas:
- Buses and Minibuses: Modern vehicles for routes with intensive passenger traffic (large-capacity buses), as well as solutions for local, feeder, suburban, and intercity routes.
- Components and Materials: Given the ongoing sanctions, a significant part of the exposition will offer optimal options for bus manufacturers to select components, and provide transport operators with everything they need for efficient fleet management.
- Technology and Equipment: Maintenance equipment, consumables, and technological solutions for the bus industry.

The event is a key meeting point for the public transport sector. In 2025, the exhibition attracted over 3,500 visitors.
