Russia’s Premier HoReCa Industry Exhibition
PIR EXPO, Russia’s largest professional event for the hospitality industry, will hold its 29th edition from October 26–29, 2026, at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow. As the leading trade fair for the HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, Catering) sector in Russia and the CIS, the exhibition serves as the primary business platform for manufacturers, suppliers, restaurateurs, and hoteliers across the region.
Exhibition Scale and Impact
The 2026 edition is expected to bring together over 700 companies from Russia and other countries, with the exposition covering more than 40,000 square metres of exhibition space. The event attracts approximately 50,000 professional visitors, including hotel investors, restaurant chain owners, executive chefs, coffee brand managers, and central kitchen technology directors. Attendees come not only from Russia but also from across the CIS region, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine, making it a truly international gathering.
Four Thematic Sectors
The exhibition is structured into four specialised sectors, each targeting a distinct segment of the hospitality industry:
1. PIR Restaurante – The central focus of the exhibition, showcasing innovations and new products for the restaurant and food service industry. This section brings together professionals and experts in professional equipment, kitchen technology, tableware, furniture, and food service solutions.
2. PIR Coffee – Dedicated to coffee and tea business professionals, featuring everything from brewing, roasting, and packaging equipment to raw materials from leading importers and roasters. The section hosts major coffee championships, including the finals of the Russian Coffee Cup, KTВ, and Dalla Corte Cup.
3. PIR Hotel – Focused on hotel industry professionals, this sector covers furniture, textiles, bathroom amenities, cleaning equipment, digital management platforms, and other solutions for hotel operations.
4. Food Production. Ready-to-eat meals – A new segment for 2026, dedicated to industrial catering, central kitchens, and ready-to-eat meal production. This section addresses the growing demand for centralised food production serving restaurant chains, grocery retail, and food service providers.
Business Programme and Events
The exhibition features an extensive business programme with over 400 events, including conferences, lectures, masterclasses, discussions, and presentations. More than 800 industry leaders from various regions of Russia participate in the business programme.
Key events include:
- “Innovation of the Year” Award – recognising the most promising developments in equipment and technology for restaurant and hotel businesses
- Coffee Championships – finals of the Russian Coffee Cup and Dalla Corte Cup
- Seminars and expert sessions – covering topics such as energy-efficient restaurant design, 3D modelling in catering projects, and operational workflow optimisation
The central theme for 2026 focuses on adapting to rapid market changes—addressing rising costs, declining consumer activity, and persistent staff shortages—with solutions designed to help businesses reassess their economics and improve efficiency.
