INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION AND CONGRESS CORROSION PROTECTION

The exhibition-congress “Corrosion Protection” dates back to 1981 and has been taking place in St. Petersburg for more than 40 years. Until 2015, the project was carried out at the Lenexpo exhibition complex on the shores of the Gulf of Finland. Such a long history is not accidental – the northwestern region is industrial and the need for special technologies for the protection of metal structures, ships, and bridges is always relevant.
In 2015, the project received a new impetus in its development – the event took place at the newly opened Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center with the participation of corrosion protection specialists from Gazprom PJSC. The key topic of the business program was the topic of anti-corrosion protection of fuel and energy facilities.
At the same time, for the first time, within the framework of the Exhibition-Congress, a new business communications format for the event was successfully implemented – the “Supplier Search Center”. About 50 companies from 26 Russian cities took part in its work. The largest industry companies were able to demonstrate their products to the managers and specialists of the anti-corrosion protection and diagnostics departments of subsidiaries of OJSC Gazprom: Velikoluksky Mechanical Plant, NPO Eurokhim, Elektronmash, Khimkor-Service, NPP Electronic Information Systems, Proektelectrotechnika “, “Tekhnoprom”, “Gazstroyspetsmontazh”, etc. Clients of the Center confirmed that the new format will help to significantly increase the likelihood of concluding commercial agreements.
Since 2018, specialists from oil companies began to actively participate in the events of the Exhibition’s business program.
Today, the Exhibition-Congress “Corrosion Protection” is a rapidly developing platform for meeting experts in the field of corrosion protection, including specialists from Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC, Transneft PJSC, Transneft Research Institute LLC, LUKOIL PJSC, enterprises of the Rosneft Group, as well as JSC Russian Railways, State Unitary Enterprise Petersburg Metro, etc.
